Rope splicing is the art of creating an eye in the end of a piece of rope, forming a continuous length or joining two lengths of rope together or to hardware such as shackles, thimbles or hooks. By using the correct splice, minimal rope strength is lost compared to using knots where you can lose around 50% of the ropes breaking load. Our in-house splicing team offer a bespoke service to deliver your rope assemblies ready to use. Should you want to learn to splice we can offer training courses at our factory or onsite at your premises. We can also supply splicing kits and whipping twine for you to be able to splice your own ropes.
